Wildonomy is a business run by five individuals who gather wild, organic herbs. Their goal is to foster community and reconnect people with nature through adventurous herb harvesting and cooking workshops. Additionally, they specialize in drying and selling herbs. In the packaging design, the priority is environmental protection and long-term quality preservation.
For this reason, the herbs are packaged in refillable glass jars. When the contents of the jar run out, customers can simply bring it back to the store for refilling during their next purchase. The jar is encased in a box made from recycled paper, which includes all the necessary product information. When designing the packaging, I aimed to break away from straight lines, so I incorporated a curved cut-out that reveals the contents inside the box, aligning with the overall brand aesthetics. I use a single color for printing to emphasize simplicity and sustainability. The variable elements of the packaging include the product’s name and its corresponding illustration.
