Kaskabel was born from a story whispered across the Argentine countryside—a man, bitten by a snake, found relief not in medicine, but in a homemade vermouth crafted with a mysterious recipe.

Whether myth or truth, the tale became the soul of this vermouth: wild, enduring, and unmistakably local. Kaskabel pays tribute to that spirit with a blend of regional botanicals, artisanal methods, and a deep respect for heritage—resulting in a vermouth that’s both fierce and refined.

This is not just a drink. It’s a bite of history.

CONCEPT

Kaskabel is a vermouth with venom and virtue.
The packaging concept draws from folklore, apothecary mysticism, and vintage national iconography, blending the rawness of the legend with an elegant visual system.

The label tells the story at first glance:

A crowned serpent, coiled above a blooming rose, represents the duality of nature—poison and beauty, survival and surrender.

Ornamental borders and detailed etchings nod to banknotes and antique documents, reinforcing the product’s crafted, timeless nature.

The color palette—crimson, bone white, and dusty blue—evokes aged prints and traditional graphic art from the Argentine cultural past.

SOLUTION

We designed Kaskabel Rojo to feel like a relic with a pulse. A bottle you might find in an old family chest, next to field remedies and forbidden recipes.

Illustration Technique: All artwork was hand-drawn and digitized to retain imperfections and authenticity, creating a print-like quality that echoes engraving.
Typography: Custom serif logotype with sharp endings mirrors the fang-like threat of a snake—subtle, but deliberate.
Label Finish: Matte paper texture combined with raised elements on the rose and crown, making the bottle visually rich and tactile.
Narrative Elements: Hidden details across the bottom band depict landscapes, pioneers, and symbolic emblems, connecting the story of the man and his remedy to the broader mythos of the land.

RESULT

Kaskabel is more than a vermouth. It’s a visual and sensory experience that balances elegance with rebellion. The label sparks curiosity, the name leaves a mark, and the vermouth itself delivers a bold, lingering finish.
