OLIMPIA Lager Beer — Crafted by Gods, Chosen by Mortals

(a Conceptual Project by Tuerca Studio)

Some projects are born from a request. Others are born just because. This is one of those.

Earlier this year, we decided to create something with no client, no deadline, and no one waiting on the other side. Just us, our process, and the desire to sharpen the craft. To play seriously. To design like we mean it.

That’s how OLIMPIA Lager Beer came to life — a brand you won’t find on shelves (yet), but one that already feels real. Because it was treated as such.
No shortcuts, no templates, no shortcuts.

Internal brief, references, iterations, full system build — like we would for any commissioned identity.

The Idea

OLIMPIA was born from the clash between mythology and mass consumption.

A beer made with divine ambition and mortal thirst. It takes the grandeur of ancient Olympic glory and repackages it into something cold, drinkable, and radically contemporary.

The voice is loud but formal. The tone is ceremonial, yet playful.

The message is clear: VICTORIA IN SPUMA.

The Design

We crafted a full identity system inspired by neoclassical engravings and medal iconography.

The central figure — half myth, half propaganda — evokes the spirit of heroic conquests… now in aluminum.

Typography echoes Roman lettering, bold and condensed.

Color palette is disciplined: royal blue, antique white and a touch of gold.

Composition is medallion-based, symmetrical and ritualistic.

The phrase “Crafted by Gods. Chosen by Mortals.” frames the core — a declaration, not a slogan.

OLIMPIA isn’t a parody. It’s a serious joke. A fictional beer that feels more real than many real ones.

The Process

This wasn’t a mockup exercise.

This was full-scope: from naming and storytelling to visual system and packaging execution.

We approached OLIMPIA with the same discipline we apply to our client work — the only difference is, we were the client.
