“A Social Impact Game” is a collaborative initiative developed with Café Coffee Day’s Iced Chai Latte to promote progressive thinking, respect, and open dialogue around societal norms—particularly dress codes for young girls. The project, guided by Dr. Prof. Ranjana Dani, addresses the judgment and restrictions faced by young women due to perceived “inappropriate” clothing.
The solution is a card-based game that uses scenario prompts to help players reflect on real-life situations, challenge stereotypes, and develop empathetic perspectives. It emphasizes respectful communication, understanding individuality, and questioning rigid social norms in a playful, engaging manner.
Key Elements:
Tackles legal and societal frameworks around dress codes in India
Encourages self-expression and inclusive thinking
Designed as an interactive, educational tool to foster dialogue among youth and adults alike.
