Tadam was commissioned to revamp the packaging design for La Chula, a line of ready-to-drink tequila-based cocktails launched by the client. While only the Mango Margarita flavour has been released to date, the goal was to elevate and unify the visual direction across the full range.
The mandate: enhance perceived quality, build a cohesive and vibrant visual identity, and celebrate the brand’s Mexican heritage with authenticity and flair.
A vibrant signature inspired by Mexico
Sipping on a La Chula feels like escaping to a sunny Mexican beach. To bring that feeling to life:
- A juicy, hand-drawn mango takes centre stage for instant flavour recognition
- A warm, festive colour palette (yellow, orange) evokes summer and celebration
- A pastel-toned sarape-style pattern at the base of the can pays tribute to traditional Mexican craftsmanship and culture
- A bold, eye-catching design that stands out on the shelf and sparks curiosity
