When dealing with technology I approach it in a very conservative and critical manner. Redesigning Radio Shacks whole brand identity and packaging brought about a great opportunity to analyze different markets of technology retail stores. What appealed me the most is radio shacks main competitor, best buy. Because of the nature of these products, I made the choice to give it a classic look that appeals to a more sophisticated market, one that Best Buy and Amazon lacks. Compared to Apple it will bring the great design ethic they are known for but at a more affordable price. Similar to an art boutique store but for electronics, Radio Shacks new brand system will connect with customers at a whole new level.
