The ‘day job’ of the owner of Forest Hill Vineyard is a broker. Brokers are either jealously admired for their earning capacity or much maligned for their tactics.

Our modern-day broker, inspired by Da Vinci’s ‘Vitruvian man’, moves in all directions to read the market, play the market, ride the ‘j’ curve, spin the wheel and dance the ‘soft shoe shuffle’. Our broker is also a connoisseur who blends art and science to develop a good deal, just like the owner of Forest Hill. The illustration is rich with visual puns and sly references to their shenanigans.
