Packaging design for a line of premium wines from Apulia, designed to gain attention from a younger audience without loosing the heritage of the company.
A generational turnover in a winery with 500 years of history is something that deserves great attention. We’ve been asked to redesign an entire line of products to reposition them for a more contemporary and younger audience, without losing the brand heritage.
Each wine is produced in a very specific and limited area of the Conti Zecca territory, which makes this wine exceptionally curated. To communicate this unique aspect on each label we represented – with a double-embossed, hyper-detailed gold foil – the Masseria (a typical countryside home from Apulia) linked to that vignard. On the sides of the label there is a hand-drawn map of the territory, printed with a sublte color difference and a glossy transparent ink.
What’s Unique?
The general aesthetic, built on color, type and illustration communicates a classical yet fresh mood. The colorful labels demonstrated to be effective and recognizable on social media.
