A SCENT’s brand image is localized to Taiwan, therefore the designers took inspiration from local architecture. The form of the cardboard packaging is inspired by 19th/20th-century Taiwanese roofing, and the patterns printed inside the cardboard packaging are inspired by 19th/20th-century windows and floors. Overall, the packaging design emphasizes the brand’s vision of purity, simplicity, and surprise. The outside of the cardboard packaging is designed to emphasize purity and simplicity, while the inside is meant to surprise.

A SCENT Essential Oil won the Golden Pin Design Award 2019 Design Mark and is shortlisted for the Best Design prize, which will be announced at the award ceremony on December 5, 2019.
