From SPICY To AUDACITY
Oliveira da Serra is a leading brand in olive oil in Portugal, which had the vision and courage to create one of the greatest olive groves in the world, one of the world’s best olive mills and has innovating firmly rooted in its DNA. So when they briefed us to develop packaging for their new rebel son, an audacious spicy piri-piri with olive oil, the challenge was how to harmonize commercial impact with these brand values. We wanted to explore the relation of the Portuguese with this type of product and to make the packaging feel close to the product and the brand. So we created a design concept that was born from the audacious and daring attitude of people who love spicy sauce.

The result is packaging that goes way beyond the functional: it’s fun, powerful and immediately showcases the taste and intensity of the product. It speaks to the consumer and gives the brand a voice, a language and a bold, authentic graphic expression that makes the packaging stand out from the crowd and injects a new vitality and spicy energy in boring supermarket shelves.
