Orhan Irmak Tasarim renewed the logo and packaging designs for Youplus, Turkey’s leading pharmaceutical company Abdi İbrahim’s dietary supplement brand. The products in this category usually have an overly medical look whereas Youplus prioritizes healthy and balanced nutrition in its new positioning. This is why the design was differentiated from the category and brush strokes and watercolor effects were used on a craft texture background to communicate the product features. The leaf placed in the logo’s U letter was also used in the packaging design and became a visually connecting element between the products. This way the products moved away from the category’s medical feel and naturality was highlighted in the brand image.
