Magic pop is a sugary treat for children that crackles in the mouth with popping noise, and tingling sensation as tiny air pockets of carbonation are released as the hard candy melts. With every release of a loud POP, Magic pop is not just a candy but a toy with entertainment value. Magic pop appeared in a wide variety of flavors, had a texture like crumbled stone, with incredible nostalgic value.
Novelty candy like magic pop appeals to children as an edgy product and has been brought to be a part of an urban legend. Magic pop attracts kids because it is for exploration and experimentation. The visual laguage of their re-packaging is to “create harmless mischief”.
The presence of Magic pop is already well established with the Monster and the bright mix of colours on the label which we would maintain, while driving the visuals to intensify the brand persona of mischievous appetizing candy.
The structure redesign would aim to make the consumption easier and the display more novelty like. The candy getting stuck to the packet can be frustrating in the existing package, which we aim to make less troublesome.
