Bindi’s have been an integral part of the Indian Culture since the start of time. With the adoption of Western influences, gen Z doesn’t consider applying bindis on regular basis as they see it to be very traditional and hence prefer it only on occasions. Most of them consider bindis are suitable only for older woman.

ARIKA, is a brand that provides a contemprory & traditional approach to THE BINDI,which has been missing in the market. A glocal, off-beat & funky addition to the set of cosmetics & accessories of the Gen Z. This brand has come out of the need to represent and bring together the newer generation through the tiny little marking on our foreheads, the bindi.

Our mission is to re-introduce bindis as a new-age accessory, that goes beyond its cultural connotations and image. Bindis can represent an identity in terms of culture and/or aesthetic and we as a brand wish to bring more imagination to the clusters of colorful patterns adorned on our bodies.

Our products consist of pen-shaped liquid-based Bindi, that will be spill-proof, allergens, and toxin-free, with zero fragrance, to make it safe and appealing to most of the market. The products will allow more exploration and imagination in terms of application. This along with the packaging that is spill-proof and protective ensures the longevity of the bindis. It also aims at making “bindis” more inclusive in regard to gender and age.
