In terms of shape, the box is made up of two asymmetrical half-brick shapes that can slide into each other, with the waving sides also adding to the dancing, happy atmosphere. When I was designing the box for JAMM, I wanted to create something that when someone sees it on the shelf, they see a lovely product that evokes happiness and joy, and makes them want to discover what’s inside. When I was designing the graphics for the packaging, I wanted to create an unusual jam packaging, where no jam jar or spoon appears in any form.

As both fruits are from Brazil, I wanted to create a fun, carnival atmosphere, both with the colours and the carnival dancers who dance on the waving “jam”. Also evoking the Brazilian atmosphere are the toucans that appear in several places on the packaging. According to the flavours, the two fruits also appear on the boxes.
