From one end to the other, vineyards are cultivated in Greece; each region is characterized by local varieties and PGI wines.
The Grammenos winery is located on the famous island of Corfu, which is also known for vine cultivation and wine production. A visit there offers an exceptional tasting experience.
The local varieties of Petrocoritho and Kakotrygis impart unique characteristics to the winery’s wines, and when the owners decided to revamp their labels they entrusted our studio with the project. Our design solution was based on a unified design concept that included three monograms with the initials of the varieties and the winery’s name. Each wine acquired a unique, elegant appearance with the addition of hot foil stamping and embossing on the monograms. Through the use of silk-screen varnish, we highlighted certain elements of the design reminiscent of a hot air balloon, emphasizing the privileged position of the region overlooking the Ionian Sea, which is called “Aerostato” (which means hot air ballon in Greek).
