FB Chef: Branding & Packaging Design
Challenge: A brand of cattle-breed beef and high-quality U.S. beef, credible and a long-standing player in the industry, wishes to expand its market. However, the branding and packaging did not best reflect its identity, or differentiate the variety of beef.
Idea: The branding design is simplified with a minimal drawing of a cow. “Chef” is golden with a serious and premium-looking font. The label on the packaging is inspired by a cow ear tag, with certification icons from organizations to show the quality and create a distinct look. The two types of beef are marked by label colors, ear tags, and names.
