Chocolate, cherry, strawberry, caramel and butterscotch flavored syrups are popular within consumers as they are used in food service establishments to flavor many preparations.

Jean Paul lab, a company of products related to coffee making, has created a series of six syrups ideal for ice creams, waffles and decorating desserts. ABC DESIGN, studying the competition and the techniques of the people who prepare drinks with these syrups or use them to decorate desserts, came up with a strategy that will present the product itself in its most attractive form on the packaging.

The creative idea was based on the fluidity of the syrups and this is the desired image that the people in charge of the industry want to have as a result of their creations. A series of labels were designed in black and emphasized the thick illustration of syrup flow. The black color on the bottle and packaging label was chosen to highlight the color and texture of the syrup.

The ease of recognizing each flavor was one of the requests and to achieve this emphasis was placed on the flow of the syrup which was visualized occupying the space around the bottle making it attractive and desirable. The distinct and stylized font gives the information the barista needs, while the simplicity of the bottle projects the communicative aesthetic line of Jean paul lab.

The black and white strip placed on the top of the label separates and underlines the quality of the product by emphasizing and thus making more visible the difference in the color of the syrup on the packages. The final result, strong and full of promises for taste enjoyment, earns a place in the coffee shop windows, a place that gives prestige both to the product itself and to the space that displays it.
