The design project for Osario Brewing focused on creating a line of five craft beer cans, each with its own unique identity while remaining united under one central graphic concept: the human skull as a universal symbol of ritual, mysticism, and timelessness.
The conceptualization began with the idea of reflecting the bold and authentic character of each beer style through detailed illustrations of skulls, each with distinctive traits and atmospheres that convey personality and visual power. The skulls were developed in a high-impact illustrative style, integrating textures, light, and shadow to achieve a dramatic and memorable effect.
Typography played a key role in giving uniqueness to each label. Custom logotypes were designed, combining Gothic, medieval, and contemporary influences to reinforce the artisanal and distinctive identity of the brand, while also harmonizing with the strength of the illustrations.
Additional communication details, such as pairing images and supporting materials, were carefully designed to maintain visual consistency across the line and enhance the overall brand experience.
A significant aspect of the creative process was the use of artificial intelligence as a supporting tool. Far from replacing the designer’s work, AI was used to speed up the generation of visual references, explore aesthetic variations, and enrich the conceptual stage—adding extra value to the design workflow.
The result is a collection of packaging designs that not only serve a commercial function but also tell stories, create strong shelf impact, and reinforce Osario Brewing’s identity as a brewery with bold, modern, and authentic proposals.
