JEEZ Sauce Packaging Concept Design project is based on the idea of creating an attractive and functional packaging design for four flavors of sauces: habanero, mustard, Alabama white sauce and jalapeno.
The choice of these flavors was due to their popularity and demand in the market. Habanero is known for its sharpness and aroma, which attracts lovers of spicy dishes. Mustard has a unique taste and is used as the main ingredient in many culinary recipes. Alabama white sauce is a cute and soft sauce that perfectly complements meat and fish dishes. Jalapeno, a mixture of pepper and sorrel, has a refreshing and pungent taste, perfectly combined with many dishes.
The main task of the project was to develop packaging using typography. The solution was to use the interjection “JEEZ” as the main design element. The full pronunciation of the interjection “JESUS CHRIST” gives uniqueness and originality to the packaging. Experiments were conducted with markers to find the optimal spelling of “JEEZ”, which resembled Japanese characters.
Further exploration of the visual elements required studying Japanese posters and packaging to be inspired by their aesthetics. The main emphasis was the use of typography with an embossed effect, which added premium and luxury to the design. Each flavor was highlighted with a unique color, which made the packaging more recognizable and created differentiation between different SKUs.
An important point in the design was the logo of the brand “JEEZ”, which used the characteristic features of Japanese hieroglyphs. This gave the brand recognition and uniqueness.
As a result, the new packaging design for the JEEZ brand has become restrained, attractive and emphasizing the premium quality of the product. This will allow the brand to stand out in the market and attract the attention of the target audience.
