The brief behind this project was to design something to encourage bravery and inspire creativity among young creatives, that are finishing University or other education and entering the world of work. This design is aimed all creatives, particularly typographers as the use of type was important in the design. The background colours are inspired by how coffee works on people who drink it as it helps the brain work more efficiently and give you an energy boost, therefore the design is meant to be somewhat psychedelic. This brand would stand out among other coffee brands on a store shelf with it’s bright bold colours, to inspire the drinker to dare to be bold. Each novelty coffee cup has it’s own inspirational quote related to the creative design process, to remind the drinker that it’s okay to make mistakes and to learn from them and to stand up for your ideas.
