This is a boxset created for a special 12 x 7″ rerelease of Marty Robbins Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs.

This was one of my projects for the final year of my degree in Visual Communication at Dublin Institute of Technology.

The boxset was designed to communicate the feeling of the wild west, which is the theme of the songs on Robbins album. This is achieved by using natural materials and simple techniques such as the handout block printed covers. This special edition vinyl release is aimed as any fan of the work of Marty Robbins.

-All type hand rendered and laser etched
-Sheriff’s badge and coasters hand drawn and laser cut
-Handmade bandana
-Single covers printed from handout blocks
-Bullet 45 centre 3D printed

What’s Unique?
This project uses traditional hand printing and craft techniques along with 3D printing and laser technology.
Box custom made by designer.
