Rodarte’s Star Wars gown inspired packaging – Choosing popcorn as the suitable snack had a big effect on the design process. What is the role of a package being used in the dark? This lead me to the Idea of a two piece package, one part resembles an old school popcorn paper bag that once you take it out leaves you with a more modern like candle holder. This idea also represents what the Star Wars movies are for me, a “Nostalgic Future”.
