The task was to design covers and additional branding elements for four vinyl record. On every disk there is a song or noise collection based on granted topics.
The spectrogram is the visual representation of the spectrum of frequencies of sound. During the designing process of the album covers, my goal was to replicate the spectrogram patterns of the collections using an unique typeface pattern. I created this typeface system, based on the common patterns and forms found on spectrograms. I used this typeface along the album covers and branding elements.
