Tapping the meal bowl trend
The product is aimed at tapping into into the growing food trend of beautifully styled meals in bowls. With the frozen meals category being relatively untouched for many years, the launch of these products produced a huge opportunity for Vesco.
Key to the success of the design was showing that the food was still honest food for the modern day man. It couldn’t look too trendy, but it also needed to convey a sense of modernism.
The design also needed to ensure the food was the hero. At the same time the design had to highlight the health credentials of the meal, such as high in protein and smart carbs.
