Nymphs, satyrs and a large entourage took part of the bacchanals next to Bacchus. Represented by a panther or half-dressed with a leopard’s fur, he was the God of the vineyard, of wine, the excesses and ecstasy. The uncovered back of the bottle remains half naked, to insinuate that it wants to join the party.
