Twist E-Liquids is a California-based company that specializes in their flavored e-liquids that is releasing a limited edition flavor for Spring – Golden Honey Bomb by Honey Twist. The brand takes pride in designing the first dual-pack e-liquid box in its industry, ultimately creating a movement. Within the past year, the vape industry has drastically changed due to new FDA compliances and packaging restrictions, as we need to ensure that we appeal strictly to adults. Artistic designs became limited, and many companies have struggled with showcasing how unique their product is.

Our award-winning brand is focused in an industry with the primary purpose of assisting cigarette smokers to make the switch to a safer alternative, and we as the design team must be strategic in our approach in creating content meant solely for adults. So, how did we overcome this challenge?

We created packaging reminiscent of an era that is timeless, bold, and beautiful. Taking inspiration from classic art deco designs that appeal to an older audience, we showcased the sophistication of the product without any non-compliant imagery. The vape industry is relatively new, and we wanted to design a product that appears to have been around for a long time. Our product is not just a fad- it belongs on the shelves of vape stores across the nation, and it’s here to stay.

What’s Unique?
The shiny gold foil accents layered on top of a sleek black box make it luxurious and gives off the impression that it is an important product. The soft touch label feels priceless and the color palettes used are refined and sophisticated. The packaging as a whole is the epitome of elegance and gives off a grandiose appearance that incorporates golden bees on the side to further emphasize the flavor. Taking all of these elements into consideration, we created a product that is not only aesthetically pleasing but meant to further intrigue our target audience to pick up our product off of the shelf.
