Anyone who has visited Tasmania, has more than likely appreciated its natural beauty. On the bank of the River Derwent, comprised of vineyards and meadows overlooking mountain ranges, Meadowbank is truly breathtaking. Run by the Ellis family since 1976, Meadowbank is a farm and one of the oldest and arguably best vineyards in Tasmania; supplying superb fruit for award-winning wines such as Arras and Bay of Fires.
During a short stay with the hospitable Ellis family and after exploring their diverse property, it became apparent that nature, or more specifically ‘terroir’, was an integral part of Meadowbank’s unique brand story. Following further research, strategy and concept development, Cornershop’s packaging design came to life. The solution is inspired by the distinctive sandstone found in the vineyard soils, the mountainous outlook and the iconic map of Tasmania. A pure blue, representing the clear skies and cool climate, is also a feature of the branding.
