The Barolo Balena label is dedicated to the nature and its never ending transformation, the Barolo is the one of Michele Chiarlo Winery, a prestigious wine known all over the world, produced in the most incredible wine region in the entire globe.
It all starts in the vineyards of Michele Chiarlo and with the skeleton of a whale found right by the family in the Barolo vineyard.
The land around the Monferrato and the Langhe is characterized by hills entirely made up of ancient marine sediments testifying an age in which the lands were sea.

What’s Unique?
The label recalls the shape of the whale, the fossil is a dry embossing at the middle and appears like a footprint.
The artwork is the authentic effort of creativity and technology, perfectly fused to ensure the runnability both in the printing phase and in the stage of thinning. It’s composed of different materials assembled together and has been designed to be partially glued to the bottle allowing to remove the final part of the whale’s tail that has been deprived of the glue and covered by a gold foil on the back.
The tail has a small sticker on one fin in order to be turned over by attaching it to the front top of the bottle next to the frieze of the winery.
The final result is a three-dimensional label that conquers the surrounding space with a pop-up effect.
