Do you know the feeling when working on an interesting case captures all your attention and you do not notice what is happening around you? This happened to US when developing a new vodka project FINLINE.

All that was known at first was the name of the product (from the combination of the words (Finland and line). Therefore, before we started working, we carefully studied the patterns, nature, and terrain of this country and tried to find out as much information as possible in order to implement this maximum in the visual implementation of the project. As a result, when looking at this product, images of a far Northern country – Finland immediately come to mind. That is the secret – a lot of work and attention to detail helps you create unique and understandable products.

Finland is a colorful country with its own unique history and nature. It is famous for strong frosts and is not famous as a mountain country, but the idea to combine all the information about the highest points did not leave us – as a result, the top of the front label reflects the four peak points of Finland. The reverse side with the mountain chain creates an interesting visual effect and emphasizes the overall winter theme.

The label turned out to be quite informative, it is extremely interesting to consider and find unusual design solutions. For example, the crown near the logo tells the story of the Kingdom of Finland — a story about a Kingdom that formally existed in 1918-19. This story is interesting because the king never arrived in the country and did not sign a single document. All these details fit into the overall strong Northern concept of the brand, which at the end of 2019 received the GRAND PRIX at the tasting competition in the category “Best label”.
