This project started as an idea for creating a tea brand that will have a beautiful and interesting story behind, so I started exploring the historical timeline of the tea. As a tea lover, I was familiar with some facts about this drink, but with the research, I have come to know very interesting myths and information about consuming tea.
First of all, I named the brand “Te” because I was amazed at its simplicity and because of the fact that tea its self is called either “tea” or “chai” in every language possible (with small variations of course). For the packaging design, my inspiration was the plants that are used for tea production, but I was inspired by the Chinese culture, their colors, and patterns as well. So I decided to combine all of them and the result was a floral pattern in three similar variations, so the packaging can be used for different tastes like green, white, and black tea.
My concept for the package was a simple aluminum box with an interesting design because I wanted it to have a premium look, leave a beautiful impact and to be reused.
What’s Unique?
The design is special for the packaging its self because most of the tea brands are storing their products in paper boxes which are not usable after. The main idea of this packaging is to be reused for storage, and the graphic design is meant to be digitally printed, long-lasting and on an eco-friendly paper as well.
