The Luma caramelized chestnut is a fictional brand and product. The candy is made by a small family business that has existed since 2019 and was created to introduce chestnuts to people in a slightly different way.

Due to the small size of the business, Luma caramelized chestnuts are currently only available in a few shops that are selling handcrafted sweets in Budapest. This sweet specialty can be eaten with ice cream, granola, cakes, but it is also an excellent addition to baked goods.

The main message and philosophy of the company is the importance of shared moments, experiences, paying attention to each other and quality time.The appearance of the packaging also seeks to reflect these feelings through clarity, simplicity, soft lines, curved shapes, brownish reddish and deep orange colors.

This also communicates feelings of intimacy, tenderness, cheerfulness, love. The cut-out shape at the front of the box allows you to see the product itself. At the same time the chestnut shape refers to the base material of the product, also gives a little playfulness to the packaging.

The special feature of the Luma packaging is the gift box, which consists of 4 internal units and a mantle. The interior units come in a variety of sizes and designs, so they fit exactly to the lines of the glass, providing a good hold, and the mantle holds the individual pieces together.

Furthermore, since the product is quite heavy, it was necessary to close the box well. For the sake of that a magnetic closing method ensures that the box can be resealed. This keeps the box usable even after opening.

The other element of the packaging is the glass container itself, which is easier to use compared to traditional glass due to the buckle design and it can even be used in the household after consuming the product.
