Georgia is considered by many to be the ‘’cradle of wine’’ and its history can be traced back over 8000 years. Company “Askaneli” was founded in 1998. The name “Askaneli” is associated with the small, magical village of Askana, located in the beautiful region of Guria. Our Customer ‘’Askaneli’’ wanted us to create a strong and unique design, which could represent their history, values and quality.

BRID was entrusted to design the brand identity and package design. It was valuable for us to represent Georgian wine culture specially. For the logo which is simple and minimalistic we united three icons: First letter of Askaneli – A, the star, which represents a newborn and rare sort of wine, and the Qvevri, which is a symbol of the deep cultural roots of Georgian wine because, Guria had been one of the traditional hearths of Qvevri-making.

We worked on wine and champagne design. On the champagne visual we used a line, which represents the ray of the star, On the wine – burgundy and swamp colors. The package design synthesizes modern classic style and traditional features. Exquisite shapes, strong colors, contemporary traditional composition match perfectly and underlines the quality of the product.
