To get as much as five grams of pure organic saffron, one have to go to the ends of the earth and become a hermit devoting all your time to growing thousands of saffron crocus flowers. Or you might evaluate Saffos, and its modern take on the world’s most precious spice.

With special attention to the uniqueness of authentic Afghan saffron, Saffos provides the premium Super Negin threads given a grade of “A+” and surpasses Category 1 standards developed by the International Standards Organization.

Saffos’ packaging design reflects this passion for quality, since an excellent product speaks for itself and needs no embellishment.

Behind its laconic and graceful composition, there is a value and essence of each saffron thread, just as it is, with the combination of all the long, laborious hours of work and simple wonders of nature.

At Saffos, product quality and community support come first. The company sources saffron only from women-owned cooperatives in Afghanistan, striving to shift the paradigm of women’s involvement in saffron trade, exports, and management.

This idea is underlined with a minimalistic design giving off a powerful and sophisticated vibe.

With appreciation for nature and human labor, premium saffron deserves proper packaging. The central element of the label on the glass jar is the brand logo, the contrasting crimson saffron pictogram. In its turn, the bottle is packed in a solid black cardboard tube with a monochrome crocus pattern.

The packaging straightforwardly conveys the main message: the flower and the saffron thread – the shell and the essence, and, as always, the real treasure is somewhere inside.
