The packaging plays on the existing rich graphical history of the respective beverages by emulating how they have traditionally been represented on bottle labels from days gone by. The use of retro-inspired fonts, from a bold non-serif to a charmingly classic script, help to make the styling cohesive and work as a range in terms of typography and layout.
The twist is on the colours. Unisex and fresh, the tones are inspired by the drinks themselves, but with a nod to the target audience. The ‘flavour’ does the heavy lifting for us and leads the graphical approach whilst explaining the contents. Apart from the supporting colour dash, the typography takes centre stage, allowing the five cans to work as a range.
