Farrow & Ball – Sustainable Powder Mixed Paints Package

ABOUT
This is a student project that focuses on a sustainable packaging solution for Farrow & Ball’s eco-friendly latex paints. The goal is to enhance the brand’s environmental ethos while delivering a design that reflects its high-fashion and artisanal appeal. The design introduces a sub-brand, NutraTones, aligning with Farrow & Ball’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

CONCEPT
The concept revolves around creating packaging from compressible, recycled paper, promoting minimalism and modernity. This approach not only highlights the product’s sustainability but also encourages consumer reuse and environmental responsibility.

SOLUTION
The design incorporates plant-based inks and a flat-pack structure to optimize transport efficiency. The reusable nature of the packaging fosters a sustainable lifecycle, enabling customers to refill or repurpose the boxes.

TECHNIQUE
The packaging employs die-cutting techniques for precise, compact structures. The muted color palette and minimal typography reflect the brand’s elegant and harmonious aesthetic.

UNIQUE FEATURES

Fully recyclable and reusable materials. Compact, collapsible design for easy storage. A harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern sustainability.

RESULTS
The final design successfully integrates functionality with eco-consciousness, positioning NutraTones as a leader in sustainable home decoration products while enhancing Farrow & Ball’s brand equity.
