Orhan Irmak Tasarım, celebrating its 20th year in creative packaging design, has designed the Twist packaging for Knorr Quick Soup, a Unilever brand. In this new series of Knorr Quick Soup, we see a blend of two different flavors that we are not used to seeing together. The first variety consists of a mix of cheese and kimchi, while the second one combines chili and lime. This product concept was inspired by the #WeirdFoodCombos trend on TikTok, targeting a young audience that is open to new experiences!
The agency’s design director, Dr. Orhan Irmak, states, “We needed to capture the attention of a trend-haunter young audience that doesn’t want to miss out on innovations. That’s why we adopted a bold, high-contrast, and adventurous design language.” The tornado illustration, blended with colors symbolizing different flavors, perfectly reflects the desired adventurous spirit while also making a reference to the product name. Surprisingly well-matched ingredients appear to be floating around this tornado.
