The ForteMasso winery is situated in the heart of the Langhe area in Piemonte, in the district of Monteforte d’Alba. Its vineyards are all part of Cru Castelletto and the company also owns the historical vineyard Pressenda.

The position and exposure to sunshine guarantee the production of top quality wines, always respecting our group’s philosophy which is in favour of precision farming. Therefore the princely vines are those representing the history and tradition of the Langhe: Barbera and Nebbiolo, the grapes used for producing traditional wines such as Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera and the renowned Barolo.

The branding operation we opted has had to consider a variable as burdensome as it is a fascinating history. The world of Barolo, Barbera and the Langhe, is laden with craftsmanship evoking quality through history rather than style.

We created a lettering, a brand and bottle label in perfect Piemonte/French style, thus reconstructing the elements in a philological but evolved fashion, reflecting the geographical area and utmost level. Contextually a detailed strategy has been created in which the values of the brand, market positioning and completeness of the range are essential elements.

The lettering has been designed specifically for Fortemasso, and is an integrated part of a more ample Branding project which includes the holding and the other wineries in the group.
