Casa Rex, the multi-awarded international design consultancy with offices in Sao Paulo and London, has just developed a project for the update of Wyeth Enercal+, a nutritional supplement by Pfizer in China. The new visual identity needed to highlight the advanced attributes of the product and had to be more appealing to its target market – adults, 40+.

To achieve this objective, the design consultancy worked with new graphics, adding gold finishes and light effects, and accentuated the key visual characteristics of the brand identity in order to retain links with the Enercal+ and its current consumers.

“To highlight the vitality of the brand, we emphasized the colourway of Enercal+ and created a new icon that transmits energy and movement, reinforcing the expertise behind the product.”, says Gustavo Piqueira, head of Casa Rex and also creative director of the project who worked in consultation with designer Bruno Porto, who is specialist in chinese ideograms.

In order to guarantee consistent integration and communication of the new Wyeth Enercal+ brand at every consumer touch point, Casa Rex has also developed new packaging,for the nutritional supplement as well as the point-of-sale materials and brand guidelines.
