Garbì is the first gin made in the Italian region called Marche. It is made by distillation of typical botanical essences of that place.

The aim of the project was to create an identity to this new gin brand, with a fresh and strong personality. The bottle was used as means to tall its story and nature.

I made an hand-illustrated label printed in silk-screen on the glass that connected all different elements of the brand in a unique portrait of the product.

The first step was to draw single subjects and botanical essences and then to design the logotype. Garbì is a name that comes from the name “Garbino” a typical wind of that region, so I wanted to represent this movement also in the logotype, mixed with a sense of freshness, vivacity and strong personality.

The label was printed in silk-screen on the glass giving to the bottle more value. The design of the bottle was chosen simple and clean to exalt the design of the label. In addition to the big bottle, were realized three little bottles to promote the product, using some of the subjects of the big illustration.

What’s Unique?
What makes this project special is the use of illustrations on the bottle to tell the story of the product using the universal language of images and creating a sort of unique “portrait” of it.
