The goal of the project was to develop a new concept for the packaging of toothpaste. Sustainable design was the main focus of the project, in which the Colgate brand was used as the object of study. The physical and graphics features of the product were redesigned so that the packaging has less impact on the environment. After an in-depth point-of-sale study, it was detected that the paper box could be eliminated without affecting the integrity of the product. Thus, the final proposal was hanging the product at point-of-sale, in addition to using recyclable and biodegradable materials to improving the environment.
