When we redesigned the packaging for Elixr Coffee, we wanted it to feel like the place itself, a hidden gem. So we chose a simple hand-held box that feels like you’re opening a gift. Minimal on the outside, surprising and delightful on the inside. We designed a label system that cuts out any kind of clutter or coffee snobbery, but still gives each blend an illustration that conveys its own unique personality.

Within this minimal system design gets out of the way to leave space for collaboration and fun with Elixr’s partners, friends, farmers, or clients. Elixr takes care of every single person that interacts with them so we wanted their packaging to reflect that sentiment. Every piece has been thoughtfully considered to make you smile when you open it.

What’s Unique?
The packaging represents that it’s more than just coffee. You can go pick up any bag of coffee at any grocery store, this box was another part of the entire experience of making coffee. Cutting the seal and opening the box to a perfectly sized frosted bag like a treasure waiting for you isn’t something you encounter every day.
