South-West creative agency, The Space Creative have rebranded Canadian food brand St. Lawrence Gold.

Distributed in the UK by DJM Food Solutions, St. Lawrence Gold have an award-winning range of honeys, maple syrups, maple butter and sugar which are all made and bottled in Canada. Their products are naturally pure, suitable for vegans and many are also certified organic.

The Space Creative have been working with St. Lawrence Gold to re-brand their entire product portfolio with the honeys first to be launched. The current range of 4 flavours are all produced in the province of Ontario and are made from 100% Pure Canadian Honey.

David Thomson, Creative Director at The Space Creative says “Our brief was to make the honeys stand out as THE Canadian honey brand in a fixture of bee and flower imagery. Our design needed to reflect the higher price point as well as position them as a ‘foodie’ honey vs. manuka’s ‘health’ positioning. We created a design that transports you to the Great Canadian Outdoors, with a charmingly illustrated scene which depicts mountains, forestry and a bear with her cub. All very Canadian!”

St. Lawrence Gold chose to work with The Space Creative who are known for their vibrant, confident packaging solutions that have shelf appeal both in-store and, importantly, in people’s kitchens at home, having worked with brands such as Pukka, Sheese and Faith in Nature.

St Lawrence Gold’s investment in the rebrand has already had a hugely positive response from both retailers and customers. Steve Jackson, Sales Director comments:
