We got the opportunity to create a packaging design for the brand PAAP MUKT which means cruelty-free in Hindi, as the brand name suggests the brand has great variety of products that are Vegan and made using ethical practices. We had to design various vegan curd, one peanut curd and the other Soy Curd.  The brand wanted us to make something that is a mix of both modern and vintage and to get that kind of visual to the packaging design we choose to go with a nice vintage style on the center part of the tub and colorful abstract art around the tub with the main ingredient peanut and soy floating around as illustrated elements respectively.

By definition, veganism is a way of living in which people exclude, as much as possible, all forms of animal exploitation and cruelty and even if someone is not particularly vegan it is great to have options and alternatives in the market to try on too. Also since the vegan industry is at a boom and now you are more likely to find vegan options in supermarkets and on restaurant menus. One thing that can make vegan dishes and products exciting for everyone or can grab people’s attention is great detailing in the packaging of design of vegan products and great attractiveness in the design so that the people passing by the product in a supermarket at least give it a glance to check what is this new interesting product. Keeping these things in mind we made these designs for Soy Curd and peanut curd.

Peanut Curd is a vegan curd made using peanuts. It is tasty and ideal to use regularly. Peanut curd is different in taste but surprisingly looks like our own kind. It has a nutty taste in it and those who like peanuts will surely like it.  It involves the soaking, grinding, boiling, sieving and setting of curd. You could add it to your smoothies, oats, curd rice, lassi, kadi, and whatnot! It’s high in protein, has zero cholesterol and is guilt-free. Good for you, good for the animals and good for the planet.

Soya curd is made from ground, pressed soybeans and has been eaten for over 2,000 years. It comes in a number of different forms that are commonly used in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Southeast Asian cuisine. Bean curd can be enjoyed uncooked or fried, steamed, baked, grilled, stewed, or stir-fried.

Ultimately, it is always good to choose compassion and love over anything.
