Rolling Nuts

“Rolling Nuts, intensely flavored Cashew Nuts coated in Thai-style shrimp chili Paste sauce, will start a party in your mouth.”

We were tasked with designing the brand and packaging of Rolling Nuts to make it look fun, and unique, and stand out more than other nut brands in the Thai market. We decided to draw inspiration from 1920s cartoon styles, known as Rubber Hose and transformed cashew nut characters into playful and animated gangsters. These characters are having a great time, smoothly riding the waves in the background, which is a graphic style known as Op-art. We chose this Op-art graphic to add dimension and intrigue to the overall design. Additionally, it allowed us to use fewer colors while making the brand look strong and more memorable.

As for the logo, we designed it to align with the fun and playful narrative on the packaging. We drew inspiration from the Rube Goldberg Machine, which gives the logo a dynamic and intriguing look. It blends well with the overall packaging and our nut characters.

In this packaging image, we have the flavor of Shrimp Chili Paste. Our nut gang is having fun with shrimp in various poses. If Rolling Nuts introduces new flavors in the future, these nut gang characters will surely bring more fun and excitement to their new friends!
