I was approached by a small UAE-based company engaged in the re-export of raw food materials from Africa to Asian and European markets. In 2024, the company decided to launch a limited production of chocolate products for sale in boutiques and duty-free shops in Dubai.
The company owner aimed to produce premium chocolate using only natural ingredients, free from dyes, substitutes, and flavor enhancers. During our discussion, the client mentioned that an oriental (Islamic) design was initially considered, but the alcohol content in two of the four fillings made this option unsuitable.
Considering these limitations, I proposed a design based on ornamental patterns. This style highlights the product’s premium quality and natural composition while ensuring an appealing look even on small packaging.
