During a student workshop, we were given the task of creating a sauce. Without much thought, I grabbed some clay and instinctively shaped it into a chicken drumstick. This form seemed perfect—simple, intuitive, and immediately eye-catching. It felt like the most natural choice, and that’s how the idea of a sauce container shaped like a chicken drumstick was born.
I decided to create containers for three of my favorite flavors: teriyaki, sweet chili, and barbecue. These flavors pair perfectly with chicken, and the container’s design adds an extra layer of creativity and fun to the dining experience. The shape of the drumstick is playful, yet it’s also practical. The container isn’t just an aesthetic piece—it’s designed with functionality in mind, making it easy to use while enhancing the visual appeal of the meal.
What makes this design unique is how it merges two elements: functionality and playfulness. The chicken drumstick shape is both a direct reference to the main dish and a fresh, unexpected way to present the sauce. It immediately draws attention while maintaining simplicity and intuitiveness.
