Instant Fresh Air – Seconda

ABOUT Seconda is a line of toilet odor eliminators under the Instant Fresh Air brand, created for discerning consumers who seek both performance and elegance.

Unlike typical air care products, Seconda reimagines the entire sensory and visual experience. This packaging was designed to elevate odor control into a fragrance-forward, design-led solution meant to be beautifully displayed in the bathroom rather than hidden away. The goal: to express luxury, freshness, and premium quality at first glance and touch.

SOLUTION

The design process focused on merging visual refinement with functional beauty. A custom 10.1 oz (300 ml) conical poly bottle was developed—its silhouette inspired by classic toiletry containers, offering both nostalgic familiarity and enhanced stability. The metallic-finish sprayer, reminiscent of high-end cosmetics, reinforces the product’s premium positioning.

The vinyl label features metallic foil accents, embossing, raised spot UV, and a soft-touch film liner—sensory-rich elements uncommon in the odor elimination category. Each color palette was chosen to complement the specific fragrance and align with modern bathroom décor trends.

The outer box was designed to mirror the elegance of the bottle. Its truncated pyramid structure, also known as a frustum, was engineered to accommodate the conical bottle while forming a cohesive visual unit. Two windows—one revealing the metallic trigger sprayer and the other showcasing the elegant bottle—were integrated into the front panel. The top window communicates that this is not an aerosol product.   Between the top and bottom windows, the product’s main benefit is prominently displayed, ensuring it captures the consumer’s attention at first glance.

The elliptical forms on the box sides are related to the curves of the brand’s logo, which is seamlessly integrated into the packaging architecture. The box echoes the same visual and tactile finishes as the label (foil, embossing, raised spot UV, soft-touch film liner), ensuring a consistent, premium experience from shelf to sink. The foil color on the sprayer, labels, and boxes is the same.

RESULT

Seconda’s packaging brings a new level of sophistication to the odor control category. By combining refined form factors, advanced decorative techniques, and strategic visibility of key components, the design transforms a utilitarian product into a lifestyle object, intended to be seen, touched, and appreciated as part of a well-curated bathroom space.
