Working with Evil Corporations as our theme meant finding design primitives and patterns which would be able to scale through every aspect of the game and remain coherent.

We decided on hexagons and trapezoids/pyramids, partly because of their association with evil in western culture, and partly because it gave us a set of primitives that would scale.

Every part of the game’s design derives from these. Information architecture is a crucial part of game design, as you need to quickly let a player know at a glance what multiple things mean in a space the size of a playing card, so you will notice our use of pyramids and hexagons as the main pattern.

What’s Unique?
The design of the box and inner are extremely rare in board game design, most board game boxes and supporting inner square or rectangular and entirely functional. Our design focuses on the use of Hexagons an trapezoids which allowed us to maximise the storage capacity and retain a tiny form factor – for example the entire game fits in only 6cm of height – most games with this many components are at least double that.
