Better Food Concepts developed a new convenience item for their grab and go retail clients. Rollados are a new alternative to the classic burrito. Rollados are taco rolls—mexican-inspired fillings baked into a soft masa dough.

We wanted to take a fun, and somewhat retro, approach to their overarching design and packaging. We commissioned illustrator  Anthony Orozco to create his version of the classic Mexican calavara. The type we chose for the wordmark is playful with a retro edge. Packaging is printed with an overall matte finish to give it a softer, more tactile feel.
