Amalya is a young micro brewery which began operating in 2012 in Kibbutz Nir David at Northern Israel.

The water used to prepare the beer is pumped directly from the Nir David Spring Valley. This specific spring was chosen because of its unique water composition particularly suitable for the highest level of classic beer recipes from Europe.

The name “Amalya” is derives from the original name of Kibbutz Nir David – Tel Amal.
